Activity Log Pro 1.0.4 is out. This one’s mainly about compatibility and polish. (ChangeLog | User Guide)
WooCommerce 10.5.3
We’ve added support for WooCommerce 10.5.3 and smoothed out integration: duplicate initialization is resolved, the system status page behaves correctly with premium, and REST API auth plays nicely with WooCommerce. If you run a WooCommerce site, this release should feel more solid.
Category & Tag delete fixes
A user (thanks, Nikhil) reported a fatal when deleting a category. That’s fixed: category and tag create, edit, and delete are now logged correctly from Posts → Categories and Posts → Tags.
Plugin directory housekeeping
We’ve also applied the latest plugin directory guidance: review link, display name, Chart.js bump to 4.5.1, and nonce sanitization. Nothing flashy – just keeping things clean and compliant.
N.B – Manual update of Premium Required.
From version 1.0.4, the Activity Log Pro Premium plugin introduces a new secure automatic update system powered by Lemon Squeezy (they handle our subscriptions and license keys). To ensure a clean transition, this release must be installed manually once (by downloading and updating the premium plugin via your account or delivered zip file). After you manually update to 1.0.4, the built‑in updater will take over and going forward you’ll receive future premium updates automatically through the standard WordPress updates screen, just like other plugins.
You can see the full list in the Changelog. If you’re on 1.0.3 or 1.0.3.1, upgrading to 1.0.4 is recommended, especially if you use WooCommerce or manage categories and tags.
Getting the update
If you’re already using Activity Log Pro, you should see the update notification in your WordPress dashboard. Just update as you normally would, and all these new features and fixes will be ready to use immediately. Premium users will need to download the latest Premium version from your account (up to 1.0.4). Your existing logs and settings won’t be affected – everything just gets better, faster and more secure.
If you haven’t tried Activity Log Pro yet, now is a great time to start keeping track of what’s happening on your WordPress site with detailed activity monitoring and these new automated email reports.
As always, if you run into any issues or have questions about the new features, don’t hesitate to reach out through the support forum. I’m here to help make sure Activity Log Pro works perfectly for your needs.
That’s it for this release, you can get the full ChangeLog here.
