Activity Log Pro v1.0.8 is here, and it’s a focused, practical update. This release adds one genuinely useful new tracking category — WordPress Site Health — along with a matching email alert for Premium users, a handy quick-link inside the log, and updated styling to feel right at home in WordPress 7.0. Here’s what’s new.
Site Health Monitor — Now in Your Activity Log (Free)

WordPress has had a built-in Site Health screen for a while. It quietly runs checks in the background and flags things like outdated PHP versions, exposed debug settings, or missing recommended extensions. The problem? Most people never actually check it — so issues can sit there unnoticed for days or weeks.
With v1.0.8, Activity Log Pro now watches Site Health for you.
Whenever WordPress runs its own Site Health checks — something WP Core does automatically in the background — Activity Log Pro hooks in and watches for meaningful changes. A new problem appearing, an existing one clearing up, a warning escalating to critical: any of these will show up in your activity log automatically. You don’t need to trigger anything. If WordPress noticed it, so will you.
You can turn this on or off any time under Settings > Event Tracking.
Critical Site Health Alerts — Get Notified by Email (Premium)
Logging is great. But for truly serious issues, you probably want to know straight away — not the next time you happen to check the log.
That’s what the new Critical Site Health Alert is for.
In the Core & Plugin Alerts section of Security Alerts, there’s now an option to receive an email when WordPress flags a critical Site Health problem. These are the serious warnings — the ones shown in red on the Site Health screen — that deserve immediate attention.
Lower-severity changes (informational notices, recommendations that haven’t escalated) stay in the activity log only. The email is reserved for the stuff that actually needs your attention right now.
If you manage sites for clients, this is especially useful. You’ll know before they do.

One-Click Access to WordPress Site Health (Free & Premium)
This is a small change, but a satisfying one.
When you expand a Site Health entry in your activity log, you’ll now see a View Site Health link alongside the event details. Click it, and you’re taken straight to the WordPress Site Health screen — no hunting through the admin menu.
It saves a few clicks, keeps your workflow smooth, and makes it easier to act on what the log is telling you.
WordPress 7.0 Visual Compatibility (Free & Premium)
WordPress 7.0 ships with a refreshed admin UI — updated spacing, typography, button styles, and component styling throughout the dashboard.
We’ve updated Activity Log Pro’s admin styles to match. Everything looks clean, consistent, and at home whether you’re running WordPress 5, 6, or 7. No jarring visual mismatches, no outdated UI elements sticking out.
Update Now
Updating to Activity Log Pro 1.0.8 is strongly recommended, especially if you’re on WordPress 7.0.
- Free users get Site Health event tracking, the View Site Health quick-link, and the updated admin styling.
- Premium users also get the Critical Site Health email alert, so you’re notified the moment something serious shows up.
The update will appear automatically in your WordPress dashboard, or you can download it directly from the WordPress Plugin Directory.

Enjoy the update! If you find it useful, a 5-star review on WordPress.org goes a long way — it really does help others find the plugin.
And again, a big thank you for using my plugin.
Getting the update
If you’re already on Activity Log Pro, the update will appear in your WordPress dashboard as normal. Your logs and settings stay exactly as they are – nothing to reconfigure.
If you’re not yet using Activity Log Pro, now’s a good time to start. The free plugin handles all the core WordPress tracking, and Premium adds the stuff like Security Alerts, WooCommerce and Yoast SEO logging, IP location mapping, and more.
As always, if anything isn’t working as expected or you have a question, drop by the support forum — I’m happy to help.
You can see the full list in the Changelog. If you’re on 1.0.6 or 1.0.7, upgrading to 1.0.8 is highly recommended.
